Okay, so I went to Sally's Beauty Supply this afternoon, and they didn't carry anything near tangerine or orange or peach. I was a little frustrated--but thought "Well, fudge it! I'm gonna go turquoise. It's my other favourite colour anyway!" I grabbed a bleach kit and a colour grabber solution plus one tub of Atomic Turquoise. I had forgotten how long and tedious the processing could be, but I made it through! :D
So I guess I'll show y'all my experience! :D
Before Lulu (cherry red): I really loved this colour, but I've had it (or very close variations) for the past year and 1/2. Time for a change!
Lulu After Bleaching. I didn't want to damage my hair too much, so I was left with a nice peachy colour after 2 hours. It took me a few minutes to decide whether to leave it or continue on with dye. I really loved the peach, but it made me look very pale. My hazel eyes looked nearly yellow (they are usually blue to green)!
Mermaid Lulu (5 hours later!) : It turned out way better than I expected. The colour grabber made it so the dye didn't even stain my tub. I didn't see much of anything go down the drain besides a white foamy film.
Now let's have a mermaid-turquoise-sea-foam feature! Yay!
Love your new hair color!
